Johnny Mahon (pronounced “man”) was born and raised in New York, although you wouldn’t know it just from hearing his music. His refreshing blend of NYC roots and an affinity for UK dance music has fans hooked, as he continues his mission to be a musical bridge across the Atlantic and help fuel the spread of UK Garage and Drum & Bass in the US.

After emerging in 2022, he now has an admirable collection of releases under his belt, with the likes of Deep Root Records, Southpoint Records, The Rust, Driven AM Recordings, and even a feature on the legendary UKF YouTube channel. The versatility in his productions is part of what keeps bringing people back - shuffling his discography could land you anywhere from lighthearted excitement to gritty, rebellious energy.

His rising stature within the industry has been bolstered by securing some rather reputable bookings, such as the main stage of Elements Festival, alongside industry giants Skrillex, Tchami, and John Summit, as well as tour support for Chase & Status, Bou, Alix Perez, Dimension, Camo & Krooked, Wilkinson, and many others. His sets are always a sonic marvel, and it’s forever a mystery whether the next tune will be 174 or 140 BPM.
